Star-Spangled Ebola | Tuesday, December 16

More details are coming out on the shooting of Officer Andrew Groman on Sunday night. According to police, Groman was shot by Donte Jones during a traffic stop when Groman demanded the passengers of the car show their hands. When Jones refused, Groman went for his Taser and Jones drew and fired a revolver.

Jones was on probation for a previous gun charge, and was arrested again in June. His June arrest violated his probation, yet a probation violation warrant never made it before a judge. There’s no explanation yet of why the arrest warrant never materialized.
